School Psychologist - Walnut Creek, CA

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in Walnut Creek, CA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid California state license or eligibility to obtain one

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support students' mental health and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions
  • Stay current with best practices and research in school psychology

Certifications:

  • Certification as a School Psychologist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
