Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: August 29, 2023
End Date: June 14, 2024
Caseload: K-12
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' psychological and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of students with special needs.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention strategies.
- Must be comfortable working in an urban school setting.
Qualifications:
- Active license/certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
- School-based experience is a must.
- Willingness to obtain Pennsylvania clearances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students, parents, and staff members.
