Contract Length: 23/24 School Year (August 21 - May 31)
Caseload: Early Childhood
Responsibilities:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in the Frankfort, Illinois area for the 23/24 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being and academic success of students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborating with students, staff, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
- Providing counseling and guidance services to students to address social and emotional needs.
- Assisting in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Serving as a resource to teachers and staff on issues related to student behavior and mental health.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
