Location: Frankfort, Illinois Area

Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. 2 days per week)

Contract Length: 23/24 School Year (August 21 - May 31)

Caseload: Early Childhood

Responsibilities:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in the Frankfort, Illinois area for the 23/24 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being and academic success of students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborating with students, staff, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
  • Providing counseling and guidance services to students to address social and emotional needs.
  • Assisting in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Serving as a resource to teachers and staff on issues related to student behavior and mental health.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
