Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. This is a contractual position, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students within our educational community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support positive behavior and skill development.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior, progress, and goals, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and parents/guardians to create a cohesive support system for students.
  • Support students in academic and social settings, assisting with classroom activities and promoting inclusion.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and data collection techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.

Contract Details:

  • Contract duration: 5/29/2023 - 6/1/2024
  • Hours: [full-time or part-time]
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
