Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team for the upcoming school year (2023/2024). As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in school settings throughout North Carolina
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA programs under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
- Work collaboratively with the educational team, including teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure effective communication and program implementation.
- Collect data on targeted behaviors and outcomes, documenting progress and adjustments as necessary.
- Provide support and assistance to students in various school settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and specialized learning areas.
- Assist with the development of functional communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills.
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while working with students and families.
- Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay up to date with the latest research in ABA therapy.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various school locations within California.
