School Registered Nurse (RN) for the 2023 Extended School Year (ESY)

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity to support students during the Extended School Year program? We have an opening in Riverside, CA, and we're looking for a qualified individual to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Support the entire Summer Program by providing comprehensive health services to students participating in the Extended School Year program.
• Oversee a team of Health Assistants, ensuring they are trained and capable of delivering quality care to students.
• Be available on-call for any emergency situations that may arise during program hours, promptly assessing and addressing medical needs.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the school staff and parents/guardians to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Monitor and promote general health and hygiene practices within the school environment, ensuring a safe and sanitary atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to work full-time hours during the Extended School Year program.
