School RN Contract Job Available for a district in Galt, CA

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of students in Galt, CA? Join our school district team and play a crucial role in providing professional healthcare support to our students and staff. We are currently seeking a full-time RN to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students and staff in accordance with state regulations and school district policies.
• Administer medications, perform health assessments, and manage health records for students.
• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the well-being of students with special health needs.
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks.
• Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean health office environment.
• Act as a resource for health-related questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
