We are partnering with a school district to find a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Fort Worth, TX.

Dates: August 16, 2023 - May 23, 2024

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Caseload: 1 student requiring off-campus facility support for diabetes management


  • Provide nursing care and support to a student with diabetes who needs to attend an off-campus facility
  • Monitor and manage the student's blood sugar levels and administer insulin as required
  • Develop and implement an individualized care plan for the student's diabetes management
  • Coordinate with the student's healthcare team, parents/guardians, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate school personnel on diabetes management and emergency protocols
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the school district and healthcare providers to ensure the student's safety and well-being during school hours
  • Provide additional nursing support to other students as needed


  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably with experience in diabetes management
  • Knowledge of diabetes management protocols, including blood sugar monitoring, insulin administration, and emergency response procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
