School Social Worker Full-Time – 2022-2023 School Year 

Responsibilities:

• Assist teacher and parents in developing and implementing behavior management plants to remediate problem behaviors
• Assist students to improve their academic, personal, and social functioning
• Manage student and classroom behavior
• Provide social skills, anger management, stress reduction, or other similar instruction
• Provide short-term individual and group counseling to students who are experiencing social/emotional/behavioral problems that interfere with learning

Details:

• Work On-Site at School Location
• Full-Time: 35-40 hours/week
• Student caseload – Variety of Needs, K-12th
• 2022-2023 School Year

Requirements:

• One year experience as a School or Pediatric Social Worker
• Active MI School Social Worker License by Michigan Board of Teaching
• Specialization in trauma and/or behavior (preferred)
• COVID vaccination or participate in weekly COVID testing

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree, Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work
