Salary: $30-$34 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated social worker to join our team in Westland, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support, counseling, and assistance to individuals, families, and communities in need.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to determine the needs of individuals and families
• Developing and implementing treatment plans to address those needs
• Providing counseling and support to individuals and families
• Connecting individuals and families to resources and services in the community
• Collaborating with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and educators, to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all services provided
• Participating in case conferences and other meetings to review client progress and coordinate care
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest research, best practices, and regulations related to social work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice social work in the State of Michigan
• At least 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a clinical setting
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, as well as individuals experiencing homelessness or other forms of trauma
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
