Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Hainesville, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of social services to clients, including counseling, case management, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop care plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to clients dealing with a variety of issues, including mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence
  • Coordinate with other service providers, such as healthcare professionals and community organizations, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs in the community and in court, when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current on best practices in the field
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Current licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Illinois
  • At least 3 years of experience providing social services to diverse populations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of community resources and social service programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards in the field of social work
