School Social Worker, Happy Valley OR (LCSW or LMSW)

Soliant is working with a small K-12 school district in the area of Happy Valley, OR, and is seeking a contract Social Worker to cover the Spring semester this school year

This is a moderately sized district of about 5000+ students. The applicant will be working with K-6 students across the District, and will be part of a pilot program providing mental health support to students from diverse backgrounds.

Both LCSW and LMSW candidates are welcome to apply!

Scope of duties:

• Provide counseling support to General Education students, in addition to students requiring Counseling support on their IEPs (Individual Education Plans)
• We seek applicants who are experienced with trauma-informed practices, and support the advancement of equity, social and racial justice in education settings.
• Support students and staff in developing appropriate behavior intervention approaches
• Refer students and families to community and school resources to support their social and emotional well-being

Requirements:

• School Social Worker license from the Oregon Department of Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work
