School Social Workers needed in Frederick, MD

We are seeking a School Social Worker to join our team with a school district in Frederick, MD.  As a School Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct counseling services to K-12 students, as well as collaborating with school staff and community partners to support students' social-emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to high school students
• Conduct social-emotional assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic success and well-being
• Consult with families and community partners to coordinate services for students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work or related field
• School Social Work State Licensure 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and community partners
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling practices and interventions
