This position focuses on helping students develop communication skills that are essential for their academic and social success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across varying age groups.
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote growth in communication skills.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' educational goals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and compliance with school requirements.
  • Provide education and resources to families and staff to reinforce therapy outcomes in everyday settings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • California State licensure or eligibility to obtain.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFs encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about working with children and making a positive impact.
