Job Description:

We are seeking two dedicated and qualified School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our team in Taylor, MI, for the 2023-2024 school year. These full-time positions offer an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Position Details:

  • Start/End Date: September 5, 2023 – June 14, 2024
  • Hours: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
  • Caseload: K-8, with a maximum of up to 60 students per SLP.
  • Required License: State credentialing license in Michigan (MI).

Responsibilities:

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state credentialing license in Michigan (MI) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
