School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced school speech language pathologist to join our team! As a school speech language pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges that can impact their learning and social interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students' communication strengths and weaknesses
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' speech and language skills
• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology

Requirements:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
• Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Prior experience working as a school speech language pathologist preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
