We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced school speech language pathologist to join our team! As a school speech language pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges that can impact their learning and social interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students' communication strengths and weaknesses
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' speech and language skills
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience working as a school speech language pathologist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
