Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Olympia, WA and surrounding areas
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 23/24 academic year. As an SLP, you will work with students in a school setting to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders. Your role will involve collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy services to help students achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and home environments
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable and committed to providing quality services to students
