Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description: Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Aromas, CA and surrounding areas. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome speech and language disorders, improving their communication skills, and enhancing their overall educational experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the school environment
  • Monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
