Seeking an ABA Therapist for a K-12 School Setting in Kansas City, KS
This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist working within a K-12 educational environment. Collaboration with educators and support staff will be essential to develop and implement individualized behavioral programs that promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Implement ABA therapy tailored to students' specific learning and behavioral needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Provide training and support to teachers and aides on behavioral strategies and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience delivering ABA therapy in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
