This position offers an opportunity for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to work with K-12 students in a school setting located in Riverside, CA. The role is contract-based and part-time, focused on delivering specialized physical education programs tailored to students with diverse abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement adaptive physical education plans that meet individual student needs.
- Assess student abilities and modify activities to accommodate various physical and cognitive challenges.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure integrated support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust programs accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student participation and development.
- Promote inclusion and positive physical activity experiences for all students.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher or in a similar role within K-12 schools.
- Knowledge of adaptive physical education principles and strategies.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid teaching credential or certification relevant to physical education or adaptive physical education.
- Familiarity with compliance and safety standards in school environments.
