This opportunity is for a full-time, contracted audiologist position serving a K-12 school district in the Virginia Beach area. The role involves working itinerantly across multiple schools, providing comprehensive hearing services and assessments for students. This position offers the unique chance to develop and lead the district’s audiology program, which was previously managed by an external clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing assessments and diagnostic audiology services at various school locations
  • Develop and implement an audiology services program tailored to the school district’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals to support student hearing health
  • Manage caseloads and provide follow-up care as required
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state credentialing and reporting requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctorate degree (PhD) in Audiology required
  • Active Audiologist licensure valid in Virginia
  • Experience with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel between school sites during the workweek
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Position Details:

  • Location: Virginia Beach area (itinerant within the district)
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration: Current school year through June 16, 2026
  • Credentialing: Must meet standard Virginia credentialing requirements
  • Start date: ASAP

This role is not open to hybrid or remote work arrangements.
