A full-time Audiologist position is available for a contract covering a full semester in a K-12 educational setting. This role requires delivering comprehensive audiology services across a diverse caseload, supporting students' auditory health within multiple school environments.
Location and Hours:
- Based in Murrieta, CA, with potential travel to additional schools within the district
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Position supports K-12 students across various school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments and screenings for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and auditory interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of audiology services and student progress
- Provide guidance on proper use and maintenance of hearing amplification devices
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric audiology, hearing evaluations, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and educational teams
- Ability to manage a K-12 caseload and adapt to traveling between multiple sites as needed
