A full-time Audiologist position is available within a K-12 school district in the Virginia Beach area. This contract assignment runs through the current school year, ending in mid-June 2026. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement an audiology program within the district, as previous services were provided by a local clinic that is no longer accepting students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide itinerant audiology services across multiple schools within the district.
  • Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings at various school locations.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive audiology program tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student hearing health.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state credentialing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctorate in Audiology (PhD) required.
  • Active Audiologist licensure valid in Virginia.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between schools throughout the district.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Virginia Beach area, serving multiple schools within the district.

Work Schedule and Duration:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration: ASAP start through June 16, 2026.
