A full-time Audiologist position is available within a K-12 school district in the Virginia Beach area. This contract assignment runs through the current school year, ending in mid-June 2026. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement an audiology program within the district, as previous services were provided by a local clinic that is no longer accepting students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide itinerant audiology services across multiple schools within the district.
- Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings at various school locations.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive audiology program tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student hearing health.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state credentialing requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctorate in Audiology (PhD) required.
- Active Audiologist licensure valid in Virginia.
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel between schools throughout the district.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule and Duration:
