Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- State licensure (Minnesota) or eligibility upon hire
- Experience working as an Audiologist within school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students referred across 13 districts
- Consult with educational staff and parents regarding hearing loss and its impact on learning
- Recommend, fit, and troubleshoot assistive listening devices as needed
- Develop, monitor, and update relevant IEP or 504 plan goals in compliance with regulations
- Provide in-service training for faculty on hearing health and classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records per district and state requirements
- Travel between schools within the districts as needed
