A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Aurora, IL, for the current school year through May 2026. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with students requiring behavioral support and collaborate with educational professionals to develop effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university
  • Current Illinois State Teaching License with LBS 1 and LBS II – Behavior Intervention Specialist endorsements
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to multiple school district buildings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and effectively to behavioral referrals after initial interventions and data collection have been completed
  • Provide one-to-one and small group intensive behavior intervention to students
  • Assist in de-escalating challenging student behaviors and support their reintegration into classroom settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and families to identify best practices and track student progress
