A school district in Beachwood, OH is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY). This role involves supervisory responsibilities and direct involvement in behavior analysis programming for K-12 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight of all programming areas, including training direct support professionals and consultants.
- Developing, facilitating, and following up on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training using discrete trial training and natural environment teaching methods.
- Creating and implementing behavior and treatment plans focused on teaching strategies and antecedent interventions to reduce problematic behaviors.
- Supervising associate behavior analysts and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in the implementation and documentation of Behavior Support Plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio BCBA certification required.
- Master’s degree in Special Education or a related Human Services field is preferred.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a behavior-based setting is preferred.
