An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized support within a K-12 school environment. This role focuses on delivering positive behavioral interventions and ensuring students receive the guidance they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in behavior analysis and intervention
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement BIPs and monitor student progress
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and strategies
- Engage with families to ensure consistency and support outside of school
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
