A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Chicago, IL, on a contract through May 2026. The role focuses on providing intensive behavioral support and collaborating with educational teams to promote positive student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university
- Current Illinois State Teaching License with LBS 1 and LBS II – Behavior Intervention Specialist credentials
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred
- Ability to travel to multiple district buildings as needed
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and respond promptly to behavioral referrals after initial interventions and data collection
- Deliver one-to-one and small group intensive behavioral interventions to students
- Assist with de-escalating challenging behaviors and support reintegration of students into the classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to identify effective behavioral strategies and monitor student progress
