A position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support an elementary school setting in Hamden, CT. This role involves working with seven elementary students to provide behavioral interventions and support. The contract is for the school year, offering a part-time schedule of three days per week totaling 21 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent behavioral strategies.
- Provide training and support to school personnel as needed.
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all services provided.
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
