A full-time position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Hartford, CT. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and hold an active BCBA license. Expertise in behavior analysis and the ability to design and implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to the needs of diverse learners is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans for students with ASD
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
  • Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to guide program adjustments
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet educational goals

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification/license
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
