This full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is ideal for professionals seeking to make a significant impact within a K-12 school district. Located in Henrietta, NY, this role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team currently consisting of two BCBAs, with plans to expand by adding three more for the upcoming school year. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, providing flexibility for various work preferences. Additionally, voco candidates may be accepted for indirect, consultative, or training duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide training and support to staff and families regarding intervention strategies
- Deliver crisis support as needed to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Utilize Tier 2 intervention methods within the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS)
- Collaborate closely with the MTSS team to address behavioral challenges and improve student outcomes
- Offer consultative services and ongoing guidance for behavior management interventions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing effective BIPs in school settings
- Proven ability to train and support staff and families on intervention techniques
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and tiered behavioral support frameworks
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to accept full-time, part-time, or consultative roles
