An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral support in an upper elementary classroom setting (grades 2–5) serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This full-time, contract position will span the current school year and offers the chance to apply evidence-based behavioral strategies in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) tailored to individual student needs
  • Implement and monitor behavior support strategies and interventions within the classroom
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior plans
  • Provide ongoing consultation and training to educational staff on behavior management techniques
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the progress of behavioral interventions and adjust plans accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in grades 2 through 5
  • Background in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder within educational settings
  • Strong skills in writing and implementing BIPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school teams and demonstrate excellent communication skills
