A school district in Mentor, OH is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY) in a K-12 setting. This role requires a professional who can provide supervisory oversight and expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support student programming and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide oversight for all programming areas, including training direct support professionals (DSPs), person-centered strategies consultants, and DSP trainers.
- Develop and deliver training on ABA methodologies, including discrete trial training and natural environment training models.
- Create and implement behavior and treatment plans focusing on teaching strategies and antecedent interventions to reduce problematic behaviors.
- Oversee programming efforts of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in implementing and documenting Behavior Support Plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Ohio BCBA certification required.
- Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related Human Services field is preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a behavior-based field is preferred.
