A school district in Painesville, OH is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract position lasting the entire school year. This role supports K-12 students by providing expert oversight and management of behavior programming and training within the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and overseeing all areas of behavior programming, including training direct support professionals and behavior consultants.
- Developing, facilitating, and following up on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training using discrete trial teaching and natural environment training models.
- Creating individualized behavior and treatment plans focused on antecedent strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Managing and supporting associate behavior analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure proper implementation and documentation of Behavior Support Plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in Ohio.
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience in behavior-based services preferred.
