This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to serve a K-12 school district in Pittsford, NY, working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role is a semester-long contract designed to expand an established team currently staffed with two BCBAs, aiming to add three more for the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide training and support to staff and families on intervention strategies
  • Deliver crisis support as needed
  • Implement Tier 2 intervention methods in collaboration with the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team
  • Offer consultative and indirect services, including training duties, with potential for flexible scheduling and part-time opportunities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
  • Experience with FBAs and BIPs within school settings
  • Skilled in training diverse stakeholders (staff and families) on behavior intervention techniques
  • Ability to provide crisis support and collaborate within a Tier 2 intervention framework
  • Willingness to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including MTSS members
  • Flexibility to accept part-time candidates or provide services through voco arrangements for indirect duties
