This full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students across a district-wide setting in Rochester, NY. This contract role spans an entire semester and invites both full-time and part-time candidates to contribute their expertise in applied behavior analysis within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide training and support to staff and families on effective behavioral interventions
  • Deliver crisis support as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Utilize Tier 2 intervention methods and collaborate closely with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team
  • Offer consultative and indirect services, including training through potential voco arrangements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
  • Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 settings
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing FBAs and BIPs
  • Ability to train and support educators and families in behavior management strategies
  • Skills in crisis intervention and Tier 2 behavioral supports
  • Collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams such as MTSS

This role complements an existing team of two BCBAs, aiming to expand behavioral support capacity by adding three more professionals during the school year. The position is dynamic, flexible to accommodate part-time involvement, and centered on enhancing positive educational outcomes through specialized behavior analytic services.
