A rewarding opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support an elementary school setting focused on delivering specialized behavioral services. This contract position offers a structured, part-time schedule designed to fit within the school year calendar.

Location: Waterbury, CT
Setting: Elementary School
Duration: School Year Contract
Schedule: 3 days per week, 21 hours total
Caseload: 7 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to guide evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide training and support to staff to promote consistent behavior management approaches.
  • Collect and analyze data to drive decision-making and enhance student outcomes.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid BCBA certification with active credentials.
  • Experience in elementary education settings, preferably working with small groups of students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to design and modify behavioral strategies based on individual student data.
