Board Certified Behavior Analyst - West Hartford, Connecticut

This position offers the opportunity to serve as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within an elementary school setting in West Hartford, CT. The role is designed for a dedicated professional to support seven students over the course of the school year. Working three days per week and totaling 21 hours weekly, this contract position provides a focused and impactful experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies.
• Track and analyze student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes.
• Provide ongoing training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.

Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with elementary-aged children.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
