A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized support at an elementary school in Wyoming, MI. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive behavioral services for students in an upper elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom, specifically grades 2 through 5, for the current school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
- Provide ongoing behavioral support and consultation for students in ASD classrooms.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet student needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably with upper elementary students (2nd-5th grade) diagnosed with ASD.
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work full-time throughout the current school year.
