School Behavior Specialist in Bristol, VT

A K-12 school in Bristol, VT is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification to support students' behavioral and developmental needs throughout the current school year. This contracted position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators and families to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify students' needs and challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide ongoing consultation and training for teachers and staff to promote positive behavior supports
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Support social-emotional learning goals aligned with students’ academic success
