This full-time contract position as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) offers an opportunity to support K-12 students within a school district in the Chattanooga area. The assignment runs from early January through late May, with a caseload of 10-12 students and supervision of 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The role involves working on-site with a schedule ranging from 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with potential for flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide direct behavioral support and consultation to students, staff, and families.
- Supervise and mentor 1-2 RBTs assigned to the caseload.
- Attend and complete the required 4-day TCIS training, funded by the district.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA licensure and national certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and provide supervision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to on-site work with no hybrid or remote options.
