A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to support a K-12 school’s autism program in Edison, NJ. This contract position spans the complete school year (CSY) and involves working across multiple schools within the district. The role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students in grades K through 12 by supporting behavior interventions and assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the autism program for students in grades K-12
  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges
  • Developing and implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Providing behavior support and intervention strategies for students across approximately 3 to 4 schools in an itinerant capacity
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to promote positive student outcomes

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Current and valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
  • Proven experience working with diverse age groups ranging from kindergarten through high school (grades K-12)
  • Strong ability to conduct FBAs and design effective BIPs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school teams

Location: Edison, New Jersey (servicing multiple schools on an itinerant basis)
