A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available to support students with moderate to severe needs in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade at an elementary school setting in Pittsfield, MA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide crucial behavioral interventions and support within a structured educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with options for in-person or virtual supervision
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to facilitate positive student outcomes
- Support individualized educational goals by providing one-on-one behavioral interventions
- Promote positive social interactions and skill development for students exhibiting challenging behaviors
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly K-3rd grade, preferred
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods
- Ability to work with students with moderate to severe behavioral needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within the school community
