Grades 6 - 8 Grades 9 - 12 School Behavior Specialist in Jersey City, NJ

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available for a full-time contract position serving K-12 students within a dynamic school setting. This role involves overseeing the Autism program and providing essential behavioral support across multiple school sites in the Jersey City, NJ area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload spanning grades K-12, implementing individualized behavior support strategies.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and develop tailored interventions.
• Design and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aimed at promoting positive behavioral outcomes.
• Provide itinerant services, working across 3 to 4 different schools to support diverse student populations.
• Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to ensure the effective delivery of behavior analytic services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Prior experience overseeing autism programs and providing behavior support in school settings.
