A contract position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support elementary school students during a leave of absence. This role is based in Kansas City, MO, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment focused on fostering student growth and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior analysis interventions and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' needs
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and successful integration
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with applicable educational and therapeutic standards
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches based on ongoing data collection and student response

Qualifications:

  • Valid BCBA certification or SLP credential with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with elementary school-age children in behavioral or speech-language therapy contexts
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies and educational frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a contract leave period
