Seeking an experienced Behavior Specialist to support K-12 students within a school setting located in Middletown, DE. This contract position is available for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering specialized behavioral interventions to enhance student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies
  • Provide direct support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviors
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Offer training and resources to school personnel on behavior management techniques

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant certification or licensure as a Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in a school environment
