A school-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) opportunity is available to support a kindergarten student exhibiting aggressive behaviors within a general education classroom in a K-12 public school setting, located in New Castle, DE. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year and involves direct implementation of behavior intervention strategies while ensuring student safety and promoting skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one behavior support to a kindergarten student with aggressive behaviors.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the Behavior Specialist.
  • Assist with life-skills development, including toileting and personal care support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of behavior progress and interventions.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with educational professionals and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active or previously held Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
  • Proven experience working as a school-based RBT supporting students with aggressive behaviors.
  • Comfort and ability to assist with toileting and personal hygiene support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the school location.

Location: New Castle, Delaware (K-12 School Setting)
