This position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students within a school environment as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The role focuses on providing behavioral assistance to elementary students, particularly those exhibiting aggressive behaviors, within a general education setting. Candidates will engage directly with students, offering support in life skills including self-care and toileting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral interventions and supports aligned with each student’s individualized needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement behavior plans effectively.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavior data accurately.
  • Provide assistance with life-skill development including self-care and toileting.
  • Maintain professional communication with educators and families as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active RBT certification or previous holding of the certification (current documentation required).
  • School-based experience specifically working with students who demonstrate aggressive behaviors.
  • Comfort and capability in supporting personal care needs of students in a school setting.
  • Ability to work full-time hours from approximately 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
  • Reliable transportation and availability for the full contract period.

Location: Positions are situated in Newark, Delaware at elementary schools serving students in general education.

Contract Details:

  • Duration aligns with the current school year, from ASAP to June 12, 2026.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
