Behavioral Specialist in School Setting - Newark, Delaware

A K-12 school located in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to support student development and success throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to assess and address behavioral challenges.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct support to students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Deliver training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
