A school-based Behavior Specialist position is available within an elementary school setting in Waterbury, CT. The assignment is a Contract position for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Conduct behavioral assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management strategies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly
- Assist in crisis intervention and support the social-emotional development of students

- Proven experience working as a Behavior Specialist or in a similar role within educational settings
